Coaches from Jump Start Sports will run this instructional and recreational basketball program for children in Pre-K and Kindergarten. Players are taught the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, positioning, defense, and rebounding, and then apply what they have learned in fun, non-competitive games. Parents are welcome to assist in the coaching, but classes will be run by Jump Start Sports instructors. Players will be assigned to teams and each session will include a game as well the instruction.
When: Saturdays
March 10th - April 21st (No class 4/7)
11:45pm - 12:45pm
Where: Hilliard Community Center
The program has been helpful in his personal growth (listening and taking direction, while dribbling up and down the field) The body control component is new to him and extremely helpful....
