Children ages 3 – 6 years old have fun and learn the basics of soccer: dribbling, passing, trapping, shooting, and positioning. Each session consists of instruction in each aspect of the game, participation in fun drills that are designed to teach skills, and low-key, non-competitive simulated games (children are separated by age/skill level for the simulated game portion of the program).
Coaches from Jump Start Sports will run the program, but parents are encouraged to assist in the coaching and provided with practice plans and literature to aid them. Hummingbirds Soccer is a terrific introduction to soccer and organized sports and a fun and meaningful experience for the whole family.
When: Summer Session: 6/13 - 7/25 (No class 7/4)
Time: 3 and 4 year olds, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. 5 and 6 year olds, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Fee: $64 - includes team shirt and award ($80 for non-Mentor residents)

My son absolutely loves the basketball program you run! This is his first experience in basketball. I've been very impressed with the coaching and instruction they get. We look forward to continuing with Jump Start in the future.
