What: CHILDREN AGES 3-6 will have fun and learn the basics of soccer: dribbling, passing, trapping, shooting, and positioning. Each session consists of instruction in each aspect of the game, participation in fun drills that are designed to teach skills, and low-key, non-competitive games. Parents may assist in the coaching, but Jump Start Sports staff coaches will run the program. Indoor turf shoes, regular tennis shoes, gym or athletic shoes must be worn. No cleats of any type will be permitted. Session II is a repeat of Session I.
When: Session II: Sundays, April 22 - June 3 (No class 5/27)
3 - 4 year old 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
5 - 6 year old 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Where: Tallmadge Recreation Center Indoor Turf Field, 46 N. Munroe Rd., Tallmadge, OH 44278
Fee: $60 Tallmadge Resident; $70 non-Tallmadge Resident (Fee includes team shirt & soccer medal)
We had a GREAT experience with soccer this fall. Both of my daughters did it, and they loved it. The coaches were wonderful with the kids. They had a great rapport with them, and made it accessible and fun.
