Coronavirus

Hello Jump Start Sports families!

I’d like to address any concerns or questions you may have over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in regard to the operation of Jump Start Sports. It is important to stay informed, avoid panic, and take necessary steps to keep everyone involved healthy and safe.

Jump Start Sports is committed to making all decisions in the best interest of the health and safety of our participants and their families, community and school district partners, and staff members. We will work closely with our partners and monitor the most current information provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the respective state and county organizations. This is an evolving situation that is changing on a daily basis.

Although current data indicates that children are not at high risk, we will be eliminating ‘hands in’ and ‘high fiving’ at all of our programs. Please encourage your child to wash his/her hands or use a hand sanitizer after each session. Where possible, we will have sanitizer available. And, as always, if you or your child is sick, please stay home.

Communication with all of our Jump Start Sports families during this period is crucial. We will primarily use email, Facebook, and our website, www.jumpstartsports.com, to inform you of any program cancellations or procedural changes.

Also, please be aware and vigilant regarding the source of COVID-19 information. Some email scammers are already sending messages about coronavirus in hopes of spreading incorrect information. We urge you to follow updates directly from the CDC through the following link:

As always, please feel free to contact me at rhart@jumpstartsports.com if you have any further questions. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Rick Hart, Founder and Executive Director
