Cheryl Kipp

Sports have always been a huge part of my life. From playing them since I was young, watching them with my family to coaching my younger sisters teams; I have always known my passion was strong. I went to college with the same passions in mind, but had no idea of what I wanted for my adult life. I graduated and went into the real world, a little lost. After some time, I decided I needed to get that passion back . . . what really tugged at my heart strings. I got my masters in Sports Management/Exercise Science while working in many sports capacities. After graduation, in 2009, I met Rick Hart. This encounter was life changing. I was brought to the Jump Start Sports team as his first "Full Time" hire and have been able to help him grow and enhance an already wonderful company.

I get to spread the passion that I carry to all the young people in our programs. Also, helping these children grow, in a positive way, is of  large importance to me. Through sports, many life skills are taught: Sharing, Teamwork, Patience, Kindness and Perseverance are just a few. I get to see this growth everyday! My it be, that child that will not participate the first week because they are nervous and then have the courage to get out there and enjoy themselves OR the child that I have worked with since they were 3 and are now in 2nd grade playing in our basketball program.

Jump Start Sports is not just my job, it's a part of me. I am dedicated to this company and the people that are evolved. I will do my best to create an environment where all kids feel welcome and will flourish.
