Jump Start Sports Nashville owner Dave Pieske was born and raised in Chelsea, Michigan. He grew up playing soccer and baseball, played soccer in Europe, then at Washtenaw Community College, before being recruited by Michigan State and turning to coaching.
Dave coached high school for 20 years, college for 10 years, and worked with middle school kids through a travel program. He became president of a recreation soccer department and spent two years coaching 4-6 year old teams. After moving to Nashville to teach, he became Director of Operations at Soccer Shots, while continuing to coach 2 and 3-6 year old programs.
Dave and his wife live in Eagleville with their daughter, and have another daughter who lives in Chattanooga.
